My name is Makeen.

I enjoy building software that sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, infrastructure, security, and education.

My interests range from search systems and developer tooling to language models, retrieval, automation, and large multilingual datasets.

Outside engineering, much of my time is spent studying the Islamic sciences. That path led to Istidlal—an AI-assisted, citation-anchored research platform for trained scholars.

I hold an MS in Software Engineering and a BS in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University.
